Horizont "Portrait of the boy" (Russia,Cheboksary)

Formed in the late 70's in Cheboksary,Horizont always was a  particular appearance on the russian scene,with a too dismal avant-prog."Portrait..." have a scare majestic atmosphere.Recommended for RIO and Universe Zero maniacs.

Skaldowie "Krywan,Krywan" 1973 (Poland)

On this LP band of brothers Zieliński(also known in Soviet Union like Skaldi) show strongly change from easy rock to powerful progressive structures.Remarkable music full of national colour.

Великолепный альбом Скальдов,совершенно не похожий на их раннее творчество,соединивший национальный славянский колорит с прогрессивным роком очень высокого качества.Мне кажется что все увлекающиеся подобной музыкой начала 70-х должны это оценить.

Iverija "Pesnia o Gruzii" 1978 (USSR,Georgia)

50% of this album include original rock songs with traditional georgian style of singing and two cover versions of Uriah Heep.Another 50% it's easy pop,but  tracks like "Azimat" or "Chaguna" makes this album very interesting.Sometimes a little like turkish rock of 60's,but on georgian.

Vespero "Rito" 2007 (Astrakhan')

Good space-psychedelic album from Russian south,with strongly kraut influences.But it is not last release,this band not stopped in progress and every new record include better and better moments.
