Sergey Popov & the Fobos "Big beat" 2003

Fobos with the Sadko and Skifi was a one of first russian language group.They have no albums,but in 2000's Sergey Popov decide record his songs of the 60'sFobos plays before 1970.In 1975 Popov formed Zhar-Ptitsa.Like bonus-tracks here some original records of Popov's songs performed by his projects and Kentavri.

Exellent legendary Moscow garage rock band.Sorry,only 3 songs,it's all that have.

Accent 1981 (Moscow)

ULTRA RARE and forgotten electro-prog with long instrumentals and space moods.Some songs have a pop-rock structure,but very melodic and I like it.Like absolutely majority of classic russian rock bands,this never released on vinyl and I think what on CD too.

Rock-Atel'e "Raspahni okno"(single) 1981 (Moscow)

Good fusion,soft jazz rock,soul with funk elements.This is the 1st single of the band.Unfortunately after recording die one of general musicians and authors and later band plays absolutely pop material.

Zhar-Ptitsa "The best of"(Dubna)

The history begins in 1975 when experienced Dubna rock star Sergei Popov(ex-Fobos)decide make new group with young musicians.Career of the band resemble a partisan detective - they be able to adjust underground production of self-made tapes.In the country where rock bands cant make official records and vinil discs,band from little city become a really stars,who's tapes be found everywhere from Japan to England...And come fatal 1983,a lot of rock musicians find oneself in prisons...KGB begins criminal case but... Dubna's militiamen dont arrest the man,who's songs they know's from childhood,Popov stay free but must stop activity of the band.THIS ALBUM VERY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
